Why the VA Starter Guide is now a CPD Accredited course for Virtual Assistants
It’s 15th September 2024, the weather is probably going to be dire today, as much of summer has been. However, one wouldn’t accurately be able to tell you because the Met Office seems to have been on one long bender since Covid, and when they say ‘sunny spells’ it could mean anything from the hottest day on earth to a month’s rainfall in one hour.
‘What’s that got to do with this blog?’ I hear you say.
Well, unlike the Met Office’s apparent lack of accountability for their incorrect promises, the VA Starter Guide delivers exactly what’s promised. No wait… this isn’t a ‘buy it’ blog. Hear me out, you know I never go on unnecessarily.
Back in around 2001, I qualified as a lecturer in Further Education. I got my Cert. Ed. It means, I am fully qualified to teach any subject I can prove I am competent at. The training to acquire my Cert. Ed. was over three years and I had the privilege to teach many different people, different ages, different abilities. One key part of teaching is to be able to state the objective/s of a lesson / course and show how you deliver the steps in order for the learner to achieve them.
Those key points, and many others, have always been with me. So I’ve always had the utmost certainty that my courses enable learners to achieve the objective – to become a Virtual Assistant. And of course, there are many women who have taken my course and are now thriving in their new freedom filled career as a VA.
But, my word isn’t enough in this day and age when there’s so much overwhelming information telling you ‘this is all you need to be a Virtual Assistant’.
I can only imagine how confusing it all becomes and will no doubt lead you to question ‘is it really possible to be a Virtual Assistant?’I see all that information out there and completely understand your overwhelm, you must feel like there’s three sat navs all giving different directions.

The quiz requires a pass rate of 85% in order to obtain your CPD Certified Virtual Assistant certificate, but don’t worry all the questions are covered throughout the course. The old platform did not have this capability.
