How Much Can You Earn as a Virtual Assistant?
Here are three examples:
£1500 + 30% for tax and NI = £1950 / £30 an hour = 65 hours a MONTH or 16 hours a WEEK or 3 hours a DAY
£2000 + 30% for tax and NI = £2600 / £30 an hour = 87 hours a MONTH or 22 hours a WEEK or 4.5 hours a DAY
£3000 + 30% for tax and NI = £3900 / £30 an hour = 130 hours a MONTH or 32.5 hours a WEEK or 6.5 hours a DAY
You obviously have to market your business (1 hour a day) and will have other expenses to consider. I regularly post about those on my social media profiles.
What is a Virtual Assistant?
A Virtual Assistant is a self employed business owner who supports other business owners with various aspects of their day to day operations.
This can be anything from admin, to bookkeeping, social media support, project support, email marketing and so much more.
You charge between £25 and £35 an hour, have multiple clients and ultimately save your clients money compared to them hiring an employee.
A Virtual Assistant is NOT an employee.
You don’t look for VA jobs, you look for clients.

Is there a certificate?
Yes! There is a certificate of completion you can share, print and cuddle and also a badge you can add to your social media pages and website to show you’ve completed the course!
Does this guide come with contracts for future clients?
No. Lawyers have to draw up contracts and I am not legally trained so couldn’t provide such important documents.
I do, however, recommend KoffeeKlatch for your contracts. Take a look by clicking safely here.
Please do not download contracts from Google as they likely won’t cover our profession and usually do not cover UK laws.
How do I access the guide?

Is this guide for UK VAs only?
No. It’s adaptable for all. There are some references to UK only bits (like getting insurance and GDPR registration) which I have made clear in the guide.
How long have I got to complete the guide?
As long as you want. You could do it in a few hours, day, weeks, months or take the rest of your life. Once paid for, the guide is yours forever.
Will this guide really help me?
Yes, but you need to implement EVERYTHING and be consistent with your marketing. You can’t be half hearted about this.
