Now, I’m fully aware that some people aren’t happy about AI.
Even I’ve said in the past ‘ChatGPT is great until you realise it’s not’. I thought I was hilarious. But, I didn’t enjoy it because I didn’t understand it. AT ALL.
Now, if you know me, you know I like to talk about my health issues (to raise awareness and let others know they’re not alone, which is how I felt for many years).
Because of my openness, I have a lot of followers who also live day-in, day-out with conditions that can prevent them even getting in the shower some days. Through pain, fatigue, or any number of symptoms.
Their reasons for wanting to be successful, thriving Virtual Assistants, is often so they can manage their health. Manage the endless medical appointments – that we all know can’t easily be changed. To help reduce their stress, which again we all know, can manifest itself as physical pain and exacerbate issues that are already there.
However! They know the importance of having their face out there when you’re running a business.
Honestly, just ask Google (or ChatGPT) about the importance of it.
How did your Mum differentiate you from a crowd of children?
How did you find your Dad in a crowd?
By their facial features usually.
It’s also one way that potential clients identify you from a crowd (in the later stages of your business you’ll also have a brand identity, but we don’t need to worry about that investment early on).
When running a business you become every department. Marketing is the one that often suffers, yet is the single most important element for a thriving, sustainable Virtual Assistant business.
You deserve to market your business with confidence, without the added pressure of wondering if it’s really working as well as it could.
And you may know by now that I always try and find an easier, but equally as effective, way around things. So dreams and goals can be achieved with as little stress as possible.
AI is that alternative. It’s not a replacement.
It is not going to take people’s jobs away.
It’s going to enhance people’s lives, it’s already ‘changing lives’. Lives of people who may have given up on their dreams because of fear, inability or any other number of reasons to avoid marketing. Not just health issues.
A change in familiarity, in what we’re used to doing day-in, day-out, is scary. We adopt the fight, flight or freeze unless we’ve experienced something similar before.
And you have. You have experienced something similar massive changes to the way we live our lives.
- Google makes learning more accessible for the extensive spectrum of learning styles.
- Facebook makes communication with others more accessible as families no longer all stay in the same town / city / country.
- Mobile phones can save people’s lives. Remember when you could only call for help, when out, if you were near a phone box?
So many things come into our lives and often, initially, we’re sceptical at least, loathe it at worst.
Or is it just, like me a few months ago, a lack of understanding of its capabilities. A fear?
Are you creating an unnecessary negative energy for yourself? Because we don’t have the power to stop this advancement. The billionaires have already said it’s happening. Governments are behind it.
I’ve found, over the years, that instead of hating, I largely ignore. I watch from a distance.
And then I think ‘are their any opportunities for a positive here?’.
And their usually is.
I’ve now completed my August social media scheduling because of AI (it’s July). No it hasn’t written the content for me, I choose to do that myself 100%. It’s produced the graphics, the images, to go with the content.
How? I learnt. But I didn’t teach myself because I’d have made mistakes, got further frustrated, wasted time and got stressed.
I did what I encourage others to do. I learnt from an expert and bought her course.
Before the course, I honestly didn’t think my August social media was even worth putting out. I was feeling awful. I wake up every morning with nausea that lasts well into the afternoon. I start to feel ‘better’ around 4pm. I then have work to do, like writing content. Then, come 5:30, my partner finishes work and I want to be with him.
I have no new images of myself, and I’m not going to get any either because just thinking about getting out of bed to do my hair and make-up is exhausting. I can’t pre-plan stuff because I never know how I’m going to feel when the day comes.
I have, over the years, lost a LOT of money pre-booking things and then having to cancel last minute due to health issues (three holidays, events, etc).
We can loathe, hate, detest anything we like, we’re all different. But AI is just the evolution of the internet and we’re not going to change it.
Let’s embrace it or, if you feel really against it, side step it for now.
One last word… I mentioned above that I did a course. The course is one of Katya Varbanova’s. I bought the course and went through it, implemented it, loved it! Actually addicted to creating images of myself now! I have been an affiliate for Katya’s products for a little while now (3 years possibly?) so it’s with pleasure that I can direct you to the course that changed not only my life, but many other’s too.

The course has not only taught me how to effectively manipulate AI to create realistic photos of myself, but it has also shown me how to properly use ChatGPT (or RoseGPT if you use Katya’s one).
I like AI and I hope one day, if not now, you’ll be able to benefit from it too.

Not one part of this blog was written using AI. As you can probably tell from the lack of grammar! But do you know what… that’s okay because no one is perfect!
I hope you found my review of Katya Varbanova’s Viral Marketing Stars® AI Personal Brand Kit useful. I am an affiliate but I never recommend anything I don’t use myself. If you make a purchase via my link I may benefit financially.
